	I was bodyboarding one afternoon looking around and I came to the realization that if you are not deeper than everyone else, you are everyone else. Why would you want to be like everyone else? I can relate my bodyboarding deepness to the deepness that I feel for learning. To increase my mental capacity is the same as increasing my bodyboarding skills. I love to bodyboard, but people are starting to sell out. Most people are out there just to pose and say that I am a bodyboarder. I try to rush the most epic places my ability allows as I try to increase my talents. I want to say I’m not like everyone else I am a true bodyboarder out there because I like what I am doing. I want to challenge one of the most powerful forces in nature, and see where I measure up. Bodyboarding is not about how many tricks you can do, or how much money you can make by being a pro. It is about being one with the ocean understanding its beauty and respecting it. There is more ocean than land on this earth so you had better respect it. When you realize that the ocean is everyone’s and respect it then you may have the chance to be one with it. There is no better feeling you get when you paddle out and realize that I can handle something the ocean offers me. When you catch a perfect five foot wave and feel the water surging underneath you the joy that overcomes you is unbelievable, and to pull off a trick like a little 360 makes you even more in control. Even if it is only a foot, why would you not go out? Are you afraid of what people might say about you? A true bodyboarder is someone who has fun regardless of how bad the waves are. The only reason not to go out would be if it were too packed or too small to ride. Be out there having fun, and fun is what you should have. Just remember that anything the ocean wants to give you respect it, and remember it is a beautiful day enjoy it while you can. Word Count: 372
